My Cannellini & Millet Veggie Burgers are perfectly moist, have a beautiful texture and an incredible flavour. Meat-free, gluten-free and low calorie. My veggie burgers are always made from whole foods, no binders, fillers or additives! Millet is one of my favourite body-shaping carbs because it’s so easy to cook and use.



Body-shaping carbs

Millet ranks as the sixth most important grain in the world, sustains 1/3 of the world's population and is a significant part of the diet in northern China, Japan, Manchuria and various areas of the former Soviet Union, Africa, India, and Egypt.

Millet is a gluten-free grain with a mildly sweet, nut-like flavour that has a host of nutritional benefits. At 15 percent protein, rich in fibre, B-complex vitamins, essential amino acids and vitamin E. Millet is also rich in iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium as well as phytochemicals, including phytic acid which lowers cholesterol and phytate which is associated with a lower risk of cancer. 

Just by replacing some of your regular carbs with my better carb choices in your plan, the difference in energy levels and appearance will amaze you.

Just like my other Carbs that Change Body Shape, millet is no more difficult than preparing rice. You can either throw these grains in a rice cooker or boil in water and let them simmer away until the water is absorbed by the grain.
